Due to the number of students in many of the classes, please review the following policies:
  • All teams must be pre-registered for classes. This includes submitting the required registration form and class payment a minimum of two weeks before the first week of class. Class sizes are limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis.
  • Payments are non-refundable.
  • “Drop in” classes still require pre-registration and pre-payment, a minimum of 24 hours prior to class time. Class sizes are limited. Do not just show up for a drop in class.
  • Class confirmations will be emailed approximately one week prior to the start of class.
  • Dog and/or people aggressive dogs are not permitted in group classes. We do not offer rehab services for aggressive dogs.
  • In classes where off leash work is required, dogs must be safe to work around other dogs. Visiting other dogs/people or “leaving” the handler is not allowed and warnings are not required. Flexi leashes are encouraged if needed, but dogs who display aggressive behavior will not be permitted to continue in a class. If a dog is required to leave due to behavior, refunds are not given.
  • Please limit visitors when attending class. No more than two individuals (handler plus one) per dog, without prior approval.
  • Unacceptable treatment of a dog, either through equipment or hand, will result in you being asked to leave. The instructor determines what is unacceptable. Refunds are not given.
  • Remember, we do this sport for fun. Unacceptable behavior by any individual (either the handler or a handler's visitor) is grounds for your being asked to leave and refunds will not be given.

Facilities:
  • Please respect our facilities and clean up after yourself and your dog.
  • All waste, including pet waste, must be picked up and disposed of in the proper receptacle. Pet waste must be put in the outdoor trash can.
  • Accidents on the turf must be cleaned up immediately. Repeated accidents on the turf will be subject to fine and/or cleaning fees.
  • If using facility crates, the crate must be cleaned after use.
  • Handlers will be responsible for any damage they cause to the facility, grounds or equipment.

Equipment:
  • Dogs should be trained in the equipment best suited for them and their handler.
  • Training collars are acceptable, as long as they are used fairly, humanely and properly. The deciding factor of acceptable usage is the instructor's, not the owner's. Unacceptable usage will result in being asked to leave.
  • The following equipment is not allowed in classes or private lessons, without prior approval:
    • E-collars
    • Head halters
    • Harnesses
  • Dogs are not allowed to drag long lines in group classes, due to them posing a safety hazard. Short drag lines are acceptable in classes where dogs are learning to work off lead and needed for safety.
  • Handlers are required to wear proper footwear. This means no sandals or flip flops. In inclement weather, please bring clean shoes to wear on the training floor.
  • Some training equipment will be available for purchase on-site.

Illnesses:
  • If your dog is displaying any symptoms of illness, do not bring him to class. This may include coughing, nasal or eye discharge, lethargy, etc. Dogs who appear ill will be asked to leave. Handlers are still allowed to audit the class without their dog. Please follow your veterinarian’s recommendations regarding vaccinations.
  • If you are ill, please stay home to help keep others safe. Masks are not required at this time, but this is subject to change. If masks are required at any time, there are no exceptions.

Cancellations or "No Shows":
  • If classes or lessons are cancelled due to inclement weather or instructor illness, I will notify individuals via email and/or text message.
  • Failing to show up for a scheduled private lesson will result in the full charge for the lesson. Future lessons will not be scheduled without prior payment.
  • A 24 hour notice of cancellation is required for all private lessons. Less than a 24 hour notice will result in the full charge for the lesson. Exceptions may be made for illness or injury, though not guaranteed, please contact me as soon as possible.

Class and private lesson payments:
  • Payment options - check, cash, Venmo, Zelle
  • All classes must be prepaid to reserve your position in the class.
  • Payments for private lessons must be paid either in advance or at the time of the lesson.
