Drop on Recall & Directed Jumping

One exercise from each advanced class. Drop on Recall from Open and Directed Jumping from Utility. Two of my favorite exercises to teach.

From early on, we teach our dogs that getting to us quickly is the best game ever. Now, we need to teach them how to stop mid-way and drop and how to run away from us and take the appropriate jump when cued. This can be very difficult for some dogs and may seem impossible for others!

But, when taught as a game (which is all obedience skills are), these can be fun exercises for every dog. As with every exercise, foundation skills are extremely important. While most of the foundation skills are taught with food, toys can also be used.

This class is geared towards formal, competition obedience.

The online class is held in a private Facebook group. The class is six weeks long, but participants will have access to the group for one year. Everyone (working and audit spots) will have access to all course materials, including videos, lectures, and all discussions.
